Our Purpose -
CHC Kids Camp is a Christ-centered camp for 1st-12th graders. We believe that camp provides life changing opportunites. In scripture, every time someone spent time with Jesus, they went away changed. We pray each camper leaves camp changed. Not because of the worship or a speaker or the camp activities or even meeting new people, but because they have been with Jesus! Our camps are founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ and our staff seek to show the love, grace and truth of Him in all that we do. Kids can plainly see actions that speak louder than words.

Staff
It takes a special person to be a counselor, lifeguard and support team member at camp. They have to be energetic, enthusiastic, patient and fun. The majority of our Summer Staff Team are between the ages of 18-23 years old. They are recruited from colleges far and wide, based on their Christian Commitment and their desire to have a positive impact in the lives and faith of campers. We believe they are a most valuable asset of Christian Ministry. Total involvement and teamwork are essential for each staff member. Their ability to teach, inspire and mentor will set the pace for a successful summer. They will attend an extensive two week training where they will learn how to keep your children safe physically, emotionally and spiritually. To further insure overall safety, CHC will conduct a criminal history check, a sexual offender registry check and reference calls on all Summer Staff.

Health Officer
Your child's health and safety are our top priority. All activities are under the direction of trained counselors/staff who will stay with your child in their cabins. We have American Red Cross trained Emergency Responders that live on site 24/7. Every precaution is taken for the well-being of your child. We will do our best to see all campers have a wonderful and very safe stay at camp.
Camper Mail, Email & Faxes
You can stay in touch with your camper while they are at camp by email, snail mail and faxing. Once a day we have camper mail call. We encourage you to mail letters to you camper early enough so they will arrive while your child is attending camp. You may choose to fax your camper at 810-631-4533. Please limit faxes to one page and include your camper's first and last name and cabin name. To email your camper you will need to send it to camper@covenanthills.org. You will need your camper's cabin name and both first and last names. The last time we hand out mail will be at meal time on the last FULL day of camp.
Camper Cam
Each day during our kids camp programs we take digital photos and upload them overnight. The pictures are on our website at www.covenanthills.org.
